This year, 100% Design announced big changes for 2018 as it adopted a renewed vision to highlight its position as the unmissable show for design, innovation and emerging talent in London. Lets just say it didn’t disappoint.

The show is, as always a great place to meet old and new suppliers. With talks going on throughout the week from well know designers such as Daniel Hopwood and Kelly Hoppen.

As always the show didn’t disappoint with a fresh feel as soon you walked in from the abundance of greenery cleverly dotted around the bright colours surrounding the designer stands. The resident DJ situated in the middle and the buzz from all the creatives walking around.

Without going into too much detail of the day I will share with you my top finds.

Light up North– This find was one of the best of the day. A combination of art and neon lights. A quirky lovers dream!

Mullan Lighting– A firm favourite from last year and still this year. If you need lighting this is the place to go. Good quality lighting for every style but also they offer much more than what you could find on the High Street.

Foursteel– These are actually radiators! Can you believe it? I needed to take a second look because on first glance I thought it was the geometric speaker from bang and oulfsen.

Glamora– They offer a wide range of wall coverings from quirky to timeless. The range wasn’t the only thing I fell in love with though it was the fact they are waterproof. Perfect for bathrooms.

As a rule I wouldn’t use wallpaper in a bathroom due to sustainability but I would now!

Panbeton– Wall coverings are becoming increasingly popular to add interest and sometimes to create a false history to a room. Panbeton offer a range of bespoke wall coverings out of concrete. This is a lightweight concrete wall panel offering a simple solution for creating a contemporary atmosphere with an authentic material: concrete.

Antoniolupi– A wide range of initiative design forward bathrooms  from sinks to showers. If you want something different this is the place to go.

Spaceman– A wide range of space saving ideas for the smaller space. From wardrobes coming down from an attic to beds hidden in walls. This company is design forward when it comes to space saving.

Essential Home– If you like art décor with a bit of a twist this is the place to go.

Qlock two– Makes you pause and look at time in a different way. The typographic display combines the moment with the written word and turns it into a statement: “IT IS HALF PAST SEVEN”.

Magnetico Lights– Affordable and funky lights that can be moved anywhere around the room and attached to a magnetic surface.

Quirky Inventions of the day by the Guineapig – I mean who needs to poor their own water anyway.
